Defining Marriage: Sketching a Difference between Covenant and Contract.

Previous release on Kindle Absurdity of God’s Oneness.
A former #1 on new releases in Religious Studies – Comparative Religion: Searching Below the Surface contrasts the foundational ideas about God in the Bible and the Quran.
Nakhati Jon enjoys examining Covenant and Islamic marriage ideas along with analyzing Persian culture and history.

Nakhati Jon desire is for everyone to recognize the profound love of God for the world. The covenantal God, who passionately loves the world, sent His Son to accomplish His eternal plan. Jesus entered the world through a miraculous birth, lived a sinless life, and willingly offered Himself on the cross to atone for the sins of humanity. After his burial, He triumphed over death and now lives in the hearts of believers. Believers are resolutely awaiting Jesus’ return before the Day of Judgment. Each person who places their trust in Christ will stand before their Creator with Christ as their advocate.
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. – Galatians 2:20 (ESV)
The NJ Method
Nakhati Jon integrates historical research into his ministry by using it to provide context, build connections with local communities, and uncover overlooked signs of the region’s Christian past. This historical work enriches his broader ministry, which focuses on theological comparisons between Christianity and Islam, particularly concerning marriage.
Documenting Christian history in Islamic regions
Nakhati Jon actively researches and documents Christian history in the Middle East and Central Asia. This involves visiting historical sites and museums, such as the archeological museum in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, where he has discovered and documented multiple “hidden crosses” that were overlooked or left undescribed by the museum.
Restoring and re-engaging Christian heritage
By highlighting the evidence of a historical Christian presence, he provides new insights to local communities about their own heritage. This work is not merely academic; it demonstrates that Christianity is not a foreign imposition but has ancient roots in the region.
Historical context for theological discussions
Nakhati Jon uses this historical context to frame his theological discussions with Persians, helping believers from a Muslim background better understand their faith. By exploring the history and archeology of early Christianity in their regions, he helps them see the long-standing legacy of Christianity and how it has shaped and influenced the surrounding culture. This historical research serves as a valuable teaching tool, bringing context to the theological differences he explores in his books, such as those found in his Exploring Marriage in an Islamic Context series.
